11-Year-Old Girl And Her Puppy Help A Goat Give Birth In The Snow And Save Her Baby
Hamdü Sena Bilgin, an 11-year-old heroic girl, risked everything to save a helpless child with the help of her pet.
With the aid of her furry pet, this young child shows very clearly how values and respect for life are learnt from an early age.
Hamdü, who resides in a Turkish village close to the city of Rize, caught everyone’s attention when he revealed the lovely gesture he had done.
On her family’s farm, where goats are reared for their milk, which they use for their own consumption, the young girl works as a shepherdess.
As a result of her daily practice, Hamdü was taught from an early age how to treat and appreciate little creatures.
However, Tomi the devoted dog helps Hamdü with her duties so she is not working alone. It’s not unexpected that this furry friend was by her side the day the youngster discovered a calf and her mother in difficulty because he never leaves her side.
It turns out that one of the baby goats gave birth when Tomi and Hamdü were shepherding the herd on a snowy hill away from the family property.
Despite the girl’s years of herding expertise, she had never faced a scenario of this size.
The fact that the incident took place amid the toughest weather of the year for the Turkish community—winter—only made matters worse.
The baby would be delivered amid the possibility of a snowfall in the middle of nowhere. The tiny man’s situation was indeed frightening, but Hamdü’s courage allowed him to live.
