A foster volunteer’s dog is a very valuable assistance in her house, and she plays an important role when new family members come. The lovely dog always takes the kittens under her wing when the mother brings them home, and this time was no exception.

Asa, an adoption volunteer for The Crazy Cat Family, a kitten rescue group in New York City that specializes in TLC (time, love, and care), welcomed four kittens.

The four tiny ones had been found in the backyard of a Queens home and were in desperate need of medical attention.

The kids were believed to be between 3 and 4 weeks old when they arrived, and all they needed was plenty of love. Peanut, Cashew, Pistachio, and Hazelnut were all healthy, yet they still didn’t exhibit their real colors, despite their continual attempts to be extremely affectionate.

Peanut, the pack’s dwarf, was known for being very demanding, and despite his small, he had the most outgoing attitude from the start. The arrival of the kittens piqued the interest of Asa’s resident dog, Kona, who was excited and eager to assist the kittens.

– Kona has been described as an excellent assistance for her human mother, as well as having a kind heart for the animals in need who arrive.

Every time her mother brings home a new kitten, she takes care to spoil them by hugging and kissing them. As a result, when she first heard the four tiny ones, her mother instinct jumped in, and she felt compelled to protect them from harm.

Kona quickly approached one of the young ones and covered him in kisses, then repeated the process with the others.

The kittens grew attached to their new foster mother and approached Kona in order to obtain the attention of a genuine mother. Peanut, the tiniest of the group, caressed Kona’s tummy and sought to suckle; none of them could resist his affection.

 

Kona quickly grabbed all of the babies onto a bed, where she comforted, kissed, and gave attention on them. The little ones were overjoyed to have a surrogate mother to cuddle with, and they did just that.

The kittens began to show their genuine selves as a result of Kona’s care; they all discovered their sweet voices and did not hesitate to use them. Peanut is always noticeable; the little one has a wonderful voice, and whenever he needs something, he will meow constantly until he gets it.

The cute dwarf is quite cheeky, and he generally does it on his human’s foot in order to be carried about the home. She knows what to do when her caretakers aren’t present since she always comes to Kona for loves and attention.

Kona is an excellent foster mother, continuously keeping an eye on them to ensure they don’t go too far and protecting them from harm.

On one occasion, Peanut dashed for the door, but was stopped by Kona, who grabbed him by the back of his neck and guided him back. The four kittens are doing well in their foster home and are growing into lovely little cats that are active and mischievous.

Kona is really proud of her adorable children, and she takes her job extremely seriously, to the point that she sleeps with them and is always aware of their needs.

Kittens rescued from a house’s backyard are now living happily ever after, never tiring of their foster family’s unconditional affection.
