Dog Waits Every Day To Receive A Hug From His Favorite Postman
Moose, a one and a half-year-old golden retriever, doesn’t get along with postal carriers as some dogs do. He has been waiting for hugs from the new postman in the neighborhood ever since he first met him, and he has a particularly special fondness for him.
Everything began when a new mailman was given the Grand Rapids, Michigan, delivery route that includes Moose’s home (United States).
When the dog noticed the new vehicle driving toward his home, he fled and waited in the driveway, hoping to make new friends.
Without a doubt, Moose wanted to embrace and kiss his mailman; it was obvious that they both felt the same way, as if they were somehow connected.
Moose’s mother, Meghan Gruszynski, stated to The Dodo:
“It was so cute. He cherished how much Moose wanted to greet him and how much he loved our baby.”
Moose now awaits the postman’s arrival every time; for the two of them, it has become customary.
Anyone’s day will be made better by a dog’s kind greeting, so the postman’s visit must have been particularly touching.
In her quest to get to know the mailman better, Meghan learned that her dog had passed away not long before she met Moose, and that he had been a significant factor in her ability to move on from that loss.
She said:
I just learned that our mailman’s dog had had gone away. Every time he sets out on his tour, Moose showers him with love, which he adores.”
Now, when the mailman, whose duty it is to make deliveries, comes to Moose’s house, he gets a wonderful surprise—almost like a gift of inspiration and motivation.
She said:
May it last for a very long time! It should be enjoyable to watch his devotion because he will be our postman till he retires.”
