Dog Cries When Dad Has No Choice But To Drop Him Off At Shelter

Blue Bear had lived at his father’s house for the last 11 years, but last week, owing to events in his life, everything changed. Blue was forced to leave his adoptive father at the Trenton Animals Rock shelter because he had nowhere else to go.

Blue began barking because she couldn’t comprehend why she was in the shelter and why her father wouldn’t stop sobbing.

The staff members of the shelter were terrified, but Blue’s father ordered her to sit down, and Danielle Gletow, the director, arrived.

Danielle stated to The Dodo:

“As soon as I approached him, he put his head on my waist and let me to pet him. Simply put, he was devastating.

She came to understand that Blue was not hostile; rather, he was upset and bewildered about his owner leaving him there.

Blue’s father was assured by Danielle that his dog would not spend the night in the shelter, so she started looking for a foster home. Blue wasn’t with the only family he knew, so he started sobbing, but he was still extremely depressed, miserable, and devoid of soul.

As Danielle said:

“We attempted to kennel Blue Bear while we gathered to make some calls, but he was quite dejected. We then brought him to the office, where he laid his head on my lap.

Blue would always sit in front of the office door and begin sobbing incessantly, even if he was accompanied.

Danielle continued:

“When he turned around, his face was dripping with tears. I’m not lying when I say I was in tears.”

Since Danielle was so moved, Blue was informed that Danielle wouldn’t leave the shelter until she had located a suitable foster home for her. She wouldn’t be a simple assignment to complete though, weighing 130 pounds, having terrible arthritis on her rear legs, and having other health difficulties.

Therefore, when Danielle had the brilliant idea to host a Blue Bear Facebook Live, calls poured in from all over the nation. Fortunately, Madison, a lady who volunteers as a foster care worker for many shelters, was one of the viewers of the video.

Madison immediately offered to take Blue in after watching the sorrowful video and made contact with the shelter.

When Madison brought Blue home, the dog at last started to unwind, became calmer, and shown some of his tenderness.

Danielle continued:

Madison and I sat down with him, cuddled him, and chatted with him for a while after placing a cushion on the floor and having him lay his head on it.

Blue’s father is still in touch with Danielle, but he hasn’t found a solution to his issues, so they are seeking for a home for the puppy.
