“Perfect Masked Men” Are Discovered After Breaking Into A Bank To Commit A Great Robbery

Animals’ natural curiosity can occasionally make them unintentionally commit crimes and become the targets of punishment. similar to what occurred when two cheeky raccoons entered a restricted area.

It all took place on the grounds of a sizable and secure bank in Redwood City, California, early in the morning. With ease of entry, it appeared as though a professional had planned the ideal crime.

Two young, brazen raccoons had breached the security of the Chase Bank, which is located in the 200 block of Redwood Shores Parkway. They had the ideal disguise on their faces to conceal their crimes.

The first customer of the bank to discover the animals’ presence and decide to contact the appropriate authorities was one who was about to enter to use the ATM.

The bank patron initially mistook the raccoons for a teddy bear sitting on a desk, so they nearly got away with it. However, one of the raccoons slipped up and was promptly apprehended.

When animal shelter agents from the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA showed up at the crime scene, they were more than pleased to be called in to cover a bank robbery attempt.

As the communications manager for the shelter, Buffy Martin Tarbox remarked, “It’s not often that an animal group gets called in to deal with a bank heist, but since the criminals were masked wildlife-type bandits, we were indeed the perfect people.

Even though the crooks even resisted and there was a pursuit within the facilities, fortunately the bank personnel was sympathetic to what had transpired and enabled the rescuers to finish their work without injuring the intruders.

The bank management allowed our rescue team members inside, and after 10 minutes of chasing the raccoons outside, we were eventually successful. They evidently didn’t want to leave the bank, Buffy said.

Because of the unusual configuration of the raccoons’ legs with opposing thumbs, rescuers were able to determine that they had entered the area by climbing through the roof. They eventually overran the bank after breaking a few ceiling tiles and sneaking via some air ducts.

The raccoons took over the space and started to play rough amid the desks, causing chaos by dumping documents on the floor and toppling computers. They didn’t record any capital losses, and their sole goal was to get some delectable almond biscuits.
