This Brave Teen Reacts In An Amazing Way To Save Her Dogs From A Bear In Her Backyard

In the middle of a difficult scenario, Hailey Morinico, a 17-year-old kid, responded in an unexpected way; the young woman shoved a grizzly bear that was attempting to cross the backyard fence of her home in California, United States. This young lady reacted quickly and bravely to the large beast in order to save the dogs from her; she claims she felt compelled to defend the animals and raced to assist them.

Today quoted Hailey as saying:

“‘Oh my God, there’s a bear, and it’s stealing my puppy,’ I said. He’s pulling her up off the ground, and who knows what will happen to her if I don’t intervene.'”

The big mother bear can be seen hanging over the brick fence with her kids, evidently lured by a fruit tree in the family’s yard, in a video recorded by her cousin Stephanie López Villalobos on TikTok, and the four house dogs run out to howl at the bear family.

Take a look at this frightening video:

When Hailey notices the situation, she rushes up to the bear and pushes him off the fence; the young woman was simply trying to protect her dog Valentina from the animal. She rushed away from the scene, picking up her dog off the ground.

After the face-to-face experience with the bear, Hailey only suffered a sprained finger, and specialists in the field say the youngster is extremely fortunate to have escaped unscathed.

Citlally Morinico, the teen’s mother, commented on Facebook about what happened:

“With superhuman power, my girl just saved our dog.” One of the most terrifying experiences of my life.

Although black bears are normally not violent, they may attack humans, or in this case, pets, in order to protect their cubs from what they perceive to be a threat.
