A Woman Who Has Been Known For Helping Animals In Need Pulls A Homeless Dog Off The Train Tracks Just In Time

Nina Love knew she couldn’t waste any time when she received a message about the pit bull wandering on the train lines, so she grabbed her rescue kit and drove to the location without hesitation.

The dog was large and she could readily detect it, but catching her would be difficult, so she enlisted the help of a fellow rescuer who lived nearby.

They followed her for approximately 3 miles through the railroad tracks, and everyone was frightened, knowing that the train may pass at any minute.

According to Nina, who spoke to The Dodo,

“I knew the train would arrive soon because it passed right before we met her, and trains come every 10 to 15 minutes.”

Adrenaline was pumping, and even though Nina was risking her life, she knew she had to assist the dog when she gazed into her eyes. The dog was shaking with dread and fleeing, but Nina realized that she was screaming for aid when she glanced at her.

Nina’s rescue partner thankfully brought her puppy Teddy along, since the presence of another dog seemed to calm the puppy down.

They approached her as her companion was talking to her, Teddy came even closer, and they managed to catch her despite the dog’s hesitation.

Nina continued, ”

“I was able to tie her up because my friend hugged her until I got closer.”

When the train neared, the party was still gathered on the tracks with the two dogs, but they were able to move out of the way just in time. They were so enthralled and their adrenaline levels were so high at the time that they didn’t even notice the approaching train horn.
