After one of his dogs passed, Steve began adopting animals in need. He wanted to do something special to honor his dog, so he went to his local shelter and requested the “least adoptable” senior dog. He wanted to offer this dog a shot at a happy life because he had been disregarded and had been unable to find a forever home.
