Woman Brings Her Dog to Furry Con Because She Assumed It Was For Pets

Cheryl Wassus, a volunteer with Pets for Vets, was invited to Man a Booth with her therapy dog. She instantly answered yes, believing that Furry Con was a pet-related event and that she and Link would fit right in.

She was taken aback when she arrived and found herself surrounded by hundreds of others dressed in furry costumes, as was Link.

Furry Con, as Wassus subsequently discovered, is a gathering of people who like dressing up in furry costumes and sharing their enthusiasm for it. Despite the fact that the event was a little different than she had imagined, Wassus and Link had a fantastic day, and Link especially enjoyed meeting so many new furry friends…

Of course, he attempted to smell several of their tails and butts.

Wassus’s son shared photographs of Link making new pals on Twitter, and while Link appears to be perplexed at times, he appears to be completely content.

Everyone at the event greeted Link and Wassus with warm arms, and it turned out to be a cute mistake.
