In Foster Care, One Angry Little Cat Finds His Happy Hoot Again

Owl’s hard exterior shell finally shattered, despite his best efforts to maintain his harsh appearance.

This was partly owing to the fact that the fierce house panther had a special pal.

Hoot was one of the guys who had been trapped that day. Hoot acquired his nickname by always wanting to be close Owl after they were inside.

As a result, Owl now had a feline companion to console him, and the two could grow and learn together. Except there’s a hint of resistance in Hoot as well.

Every day, Ashley would give Owl additional cuddles and attention in order to gain Owl’s trust. CONSISTENCY is the most crucial aspect of socialization. And she understands that you can’t ever relax.

Hoot also learned how to be a purr-oper gentleman and quit peeing in the food dish. You can’t be unhappy when their tiny faces are staring at you. Ashley, I’m sure, teaches them that as well!

Hoot and Owl like spending time together, but there are a few things to remember. Hoot is going to be your best friend. He enjoys being petted, cuddled, and played with. Owl wants to play with you and Hoot, but he’ll hiss and flee if you don’t let him.

He’ll sit next to me on the couch, but at a safe distance. Because he was rescued when he was approximately 10 weeks old, he had some natural instincts that may have influenced his conduct. Though I believe that with time, getting to know you, and patience, he will be willing to snuggle on your lap. I can normally approach him and pet him, and he purrs.

The adoption that took place tonight was a difficult one. Because they spend the most of the day with me in the living room, I’ve gotten quite attached to this group of kittens. Owl and Hoot will have the time of their lives with their new parents, and I am overjoyed for them. Jonesy and Reilly will be their new names. They are lovely, in my opinion.

It’s never easy to say goodbye, especially when you have a kitten like Owl who required a lot of additional love and attention to get to the point where he could be adopted. Consider how rewarding it is to rescue terrified kittens from an attic and place them in loving homes. It’s invaluable.
