Kitten Wandered Into Family Garden And Befriended Their Cat, She Came Back to Leave Streets Behind

A kitten found its way into a family’s garden and became friends with their cat. She returned and made the decision to leave the streets behind.

A stray kitten was found in a resident’s garden in a Montreal neighborhood a few weeks ago. She was completely alone, with no sign of her mother.

When their family cat came out to see how the kitten was doing, the small stray walked right up to him and gave him a couple sniffs. The kitten was intrigued by the feline companion but wary of humans. When they approached her, she instantly turned around and bolted.

No one came to claim the tabby since she was alone. She finally returned to see her old buddy, the cat, while trying to find anything to eat.

She came upon their cat Chatons Orphelins Montréal in a family yard one day.

A neighbor was able to catch the kitty after numerous failed tries. She need a safe haven as well as proper care in order to flourish. After that, a local rescuer, Nadia, was contacted, and she immediately went to work.

She raced to the area to collect the kitten and take her to Chatons Orphelins Montréal, a local rescue organization, to give the cat the greatest chance at life.

The kitten was two months old, according to the estimate. “When we first acquired her, we named her Alixe, and she was extremely shy,” Chatons Orphelins Montréal told Love Meow.

Sarah and Morgane, two rescue foster volunteers, took her into their loving home to socialize her. The kitten was first so scared that she curled up in the corner of her carrier, her heart pounding.

When she understood she didn’t have to conceal anymore, things began to shift.

Alixe emerged from her shell after experiencing comfort and affection. She realized that being wrapped in a nice blanket calmed and comforted her, and that people weren’t so awful after all.

“She rapidly became accustomed to being around her humans and other kittens. She imitates other cats in the home by following them around and watching them play.”

Alixe has developed a need for attention and can’t get enough of petting and cuddles. She’ll approach her foster mother and want head scritches, or she’ll sit close to her humans to keep them company.

When she’s with her foster friends, the tiny tabby fills the room with her lovely purrs and emits so much pleasure.

“She has gained confidence by being able to stay indoors because she is no longer on her own. She is secure and loved.”

Alixe has grown into a happy, loving kitten at three months old, and she is now ready to find her own home.

“She was fortunate to have been apprehended on the street. She is very gentle and loving, and she is keen to find a home who will love her for the rest of her life “Love Meow and I worked together on this rescue.
